The truth....

  Sticks and stones may break my bones But words can also hurt me. Stones and sticks break only skin ....       Slant and curved the word swords fall While words are ghosts that haunt me. To pierce and stick inside me. Bats and bricks may ache through bones But words can mortify me. Pain from words has left its scar On mind and heart that’s tender. Cuts and bruises now have healed; It’s words that I remember. -Barrie Wade Words hurt but it can't be seen with the eyes ; Only the heart can feel the pain; Anger does it's thing in second but its sympathy and guilt that sticks in the memory. Usually its not what we say that matters but how its said that matters.  If what you want to tell me isn’t true, isn’t good, and isn’t even useful, why would I want to hear it?
