Sharing knowledge

This post is about the happiness of sharing knowledge with others.  I had an opportunity to share my experience with my friends and college mates. It is quite a wierd satisfaction to know that so many people enjoyed my talk .  After racking my brain and thinking of how to fit a 1 week experience into 10 sildes i worked on presenting it . This time I wanted to make sure everyone is going to learn my talk and my efforts reaped well. It was quite hard for me to work it out at the beginning. But just like any other thing I need a motivational talk and push by my mother.  With that I kick started my thinking process. From day one I went through my notes , screenshots and voice recordings. Then I came to a consolidation and the presentation was the outcome.  I have made a few mistakes and missed to elaborate on a few parts. But i sure learnt alot form the process. I thank everyone for giving me this opportunity.  - Bharathi Senthilkumar

An outburst

The village side takes my heart to  Her soft, thin cotton sarees Her smiling face, exposing her almost toothless mouth  Her twinkling eyes looking through my mind  Not to forget her flaring nostrils when I fail to greet the guests  I distinctly remember the thin gold bangles dangling on her frail wrinkled hands Her swollen feet a result of the years invested in the Nobel profession  Whenever I bend down to get her blessings i realise the work that has gone into bringing me to these standards.  Blessed are those who get to talk to their grandmother!!  - Bharathi Senthilkumar ( Picture credits - AI )

World Wildlife Day'23

Happy world wildlife day ! This urban complex has made wildlife memories. We have come from living in the jungle to being scared of small insects. We have made ourselves become comfortable with dogs, cats and other pet animals. I agree crows and their cawing can be ugly but have you ever had the time to sit and watch that golden oriole fly across. Maybe those sulking moths seems to be waiting for a better life just like you. But it seems to have forgotten the painstaking process the butterfly goes through before showing off those awe-striking, colourful wings.  Each time the word wildlife is used we think of the Bengal tigers, snow leopards and the giant panda. But have wondered where those stick insects went ? Those grasshoppers and harmless rat snakes? Have we made them go in exile?   This wildlife day these are the thoughts that wander my mind ! - Bharathi Senthilkumar
