Although western world holds Copernicus for the discovery of the heliocentric model, Ancient India's Aryabhata realised this long before. The thought of this blog arose when I began thinking , what if we launched rockets from earth thinking we are in the centre of the solar system. Earth's gravity held the sun , I bet our satellites would have flung far off , farther than voyager 1 !
