.......Must learn.....from.....

We must learn from the trees to  be rooted to a ground and only sway to the breeze  We must learn from the trees to   give space for birds to nest amongst the cosy leaves We must learn from the trees to  Only lean to the strong storms We must learn from the trees to  thrive with some pride for the guide has always been by our side   We must learn from the tree to   be patient , for only after years of nourishment can there be flourishment We must learn from the trees to  Stay calm even though the world around is running We must learn from the trees to  not panic for the flood only uproot those with weak roots  Just and the present pandemic uproots weak hearts!!  Lets stay strong and calm while we fight against the novel covid-19!!! -Bharathi Senthilkumar

The unique space race

What is there beyond the earth? Is there a whole new race of living beings out there? Well, these are a few of the thundering questions on the minds of scientists whose curiosity urged them to build one of the world’s first man-made objects that were sent to space! Opening up a window of opportunities ,a space of abundant resources and our only choice for environmental restoration. A whole new world still waiting to be explored. It all hit the human race with the end of World War 2. The allies and the Soviet Union formed themselves locked in antagonizing. As they poured over the Nazi war machinery , they found incredible advancement in rocketry and aerospace engineering. With these findings the Soveit Union triggered the space race by the launch of the first man-made space probe “Sputnik 1” in 1947.For many decades to follow the stale continued as both sides struggled to make advances in space technology and space exploration. The uniqueness of this race is that there is no defin...

Systems thinking or just simply life ??!!

Life along with its twists and turns is a multi-disciplinary art. Humans have come a long way in being through 4 Industrial Revolution,  3 world wars and the becoming of what we are today. We call this development and adaptation but these are events we have brought on to ourselves.  The four Industrial Revolution kicked started with the digitalization and mechanism action of all human work in 1990.  The second revolution took place within a decade when everything was taken to the network. The next decade took to mobilizing everything and having all data in our fingertips literally .Presently the trend is to crowd everything. These are the four industrial revolutions. The first and second world war we have all read about in our history books. The third one is something that is taking place in space which begin with the space race. Through all  massive dislocation and movement one cannot stay Static and unreactive to the change. This has made into what we are to...

The truth....

Sticks and stones may break my bones But words can also hurt me. Stones and sticks break only skin ....       Slant and curved the word swords fall While words are ghosts that haunt me. To pierce and stick inside me. Bats and bricks may ache through bones But words can mortify me. Pain from words has left its scar On mind and heart that’s tender. Cuts and bruises now have healed; It’s words that I remember. -Barrie Wade Words hurt but it can't be seen with the eyes ; Only the heart can feel the pain; Anger does it's thing in second but its sympathy and guilt that sticks in the memory. Usually its not what we say that matters but how its said that matters.  If what you want to tell me isn’t true, isn’t good, and isn’t even useful, why would I want to hear it? But since we live in a "fast-moving world"  we don't even find the time to think or even look back at what hurt the other person. Why don't we set aside some to just watch our words and the ...

The Inn In Me

“Oh,there a new place to snuggle into so appa and amma wouldn't find me,”little Samrudha thought to herself when she had ran out of places to play hide n seek with her parents. In the planet of Gammkama everyone had a high level of patience and inviting nature towards the young girl who stole everyone’s hearts with her melting smile. The young girl , Samrudha was a chubby little girl who enjoyed all the luxury and love showered on her every moment of the day.She appeared to be very unique because of the four hands and legs she posses. In Gammakama everyone had only 3 hands ,three legs and 3 hemispheres in the brain. What everyone could see was that she had 4 hands and legs but she also had 4 brains and no one knew about it.It would rather be shameful to tell everyone because she was slower than the other children in processing what she learnt. But nothing stopped her from playing all day and finding  new places in the house and street to hide in. Playing all day and figuring o...

Who creates ?

Sitting on a meticulously shaped rock   I wondered: Who architected this rock of utter beauty Surrounding by an expanse of  greenery I wondered: Who maintained these gardens of solitude listening to the chirping of birds and crickets I wondered: Who chooses these melodies of calmness spotting a bird of intricate designs and colors I wondered : who draws these magical beauties treating the eyes felling a cool breeze send a chill down my back I wondered : who controls such flowing emotions without the slightest of destruction  smelling the scent of nectar I wondered : Who combines just the right elements at the right amounts flawlessly          feasting on the pulp filled berries I wondered : Who cooks with such patience sand integrity … . I was unsure on how to end this poem, so I thought if you all could help by commenting on the box below. Thank you for the encouragement !!
